On April 15th, Glanbia Nutritionals announced an agreement with the shareholders and related entities of Aroma Holding company (owners of Flavor Producers) to acquire the business for an initial consideration of $300 million plus deferred consideration. This acquisition can greatly help Glambia's Better Nutrition platform introduce innovative and flavorful products.

Flavor Producers is a company that provides spices and extracts for the food and beverage industry, focusing on organic and natural ingredients. The company is able to expand Glanbia's Nutritional Solutions (NS). It can bring new possibilities to the attractive and growing natural and organic spice markets, and is in line with long-term consumption trends.

Glenbia CEO Hugh McGuire stated, "This acquisition is built on existing spice capabilities, allowing us to effectively seize long-term growth opportunities in the organic and natural spice sectors." The initial consideration for this transaction is $300 million, with an additional deferred payment of up to $55 million, subject to performance in 2024. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of fiscal year 2024.
